GroceDeck is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and handle your information when you use our website or join our waitlist.

1. What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect your full name, phone number, area in Kano, and optionally your email address. When you complete our survey, we collect your answers about your grocery shopping habits. If you apply as a vendor, we collect your store details and contact information.

2. Why we collect it

We use this information to contact you about the GroceDeck launch, to understand demand in Kano, and to improve our product. We do not sell your data to third parties.

3. Who can see it

Your data is accessed only by the GroceDeck team and our secure hosting and database providers (Vercel and Supabase).

4. How long we keep it

We keep your information until the app launches and for a reasonable period afterwards to assess demand. You can ask us to delete your data at any time.

5. Your rights

You have the right to ask us what data we hold about you, to correct it, or to request its removal. To do so, please contact us at hello@grocedeck.com.ng.

6. Data protection law

We handle your data in accordance with the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and applicable local laws.
